Course expectations:
Please write your physical activity in your log.
Students need to complete a minimum of 225 minutes of physical activity each week. You get to choose how to be physically active. Be honest in completing your activity log. You will complete one log for the entire semester. It will be turned in at the end of each unit.
Being physically active means, your heart rate will increase and you will utilize muscles. This could be brisk walking, hiking, biking, recreation, dance, martial arts, play, sports, workouts, running, lifting weights, yoga, cleaning your house, hauling wood, cleaning stalls, raking leaves, mowing your lawn, agility training, horseback riding, or other physical activities you enjoy.

Tests can earn an 80% when corrected.
If you need to improve a test please give the following information to me in a webmail:
Name of the test you are correcting
For each incorrect question give me:
The question number
The correct answer ( Don’t just give me a letter, write out the answer.)
Text evidence to support the correct answer
Student reflection or reason for the error
Please put test corrections in the subject line of your webmail.
The course is graded using the following weights:
Portfolio Item 43% The physical activity log
Test 57% Tests throughout the course
*The portfolio items for this course are the end of unit physical activity logs. I web mailed the log to all students.
You will use one log to submit your physical activity at the end of each unit. High school students in the state of Oregon need to have 225 minutes of physical activity each week.
